Job Role:MS SQL DBA SME

Location:Bengaluru(only)

Experience: 8- 12 Years

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Hands-on experience with SQL Server installations and patching

2. Strong knowledge of SQL Server database tuning

3. knowledge of SQL Server database backup and recovery strategies.

4. SQL Server replication, mirroring, log shipping, maintenance plans and DR recovery strategies

5. Knowledge of SQL Server tools

6. Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances.

7. Create Users and assign permissions based on the level of database access the user would need

8. Design database Backup and Restoration Strategy

9. Setup High-Availability as part Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases

10. Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Physical Server Level, Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning.

11. Documenting major changes to the SQL Servers.

12. Apply Service Packs.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
