We are looking for a proactive professional who understands the demands of personal injury litigation, takes ownership of deadlines and case progression, and works closely with attorneys to move cases forward. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to injured clients.
Key Responsibilities·      Independently manage and maintain a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation matters from a paralegal perspective.·      Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including: case initiation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, settlement, and arbitration/trial preparation.·      Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and filing pleadings, written discovery requests and responses, and motions·      Draft Notices, subpoenas, disclosures, and other litigation documents with attorney supervision.·      Monitor and calendar all court deadlines, discovery deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates.·      Maintain familiarity with the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure, applicable Nevada law, and local court rules and filing procedures as it pertains to the scope of work.·      Coordinate depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, fact witnesses, treating physicians, and expert witnesses.·      Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records, medical bills, accident reports, photographs, and other relevant evidence.·      Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, medical providers, expert witnesses, and court personnel.·      Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date electronic case files.
Qualifications·      Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in plaintiff-side personal injury law.·      Demonstrated experience managing personal injury litigation files from complaint through settlement or trial with attorney supervision.·      Working knowledge of the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure and Nevada state court litigation procedures.·      Familiarity with Nevada courts and applicable electronic filing procedures.·      Experience drafting litigation documents and coordinating written discovery and depositions.·      Strong understanding of litigation calendaring, deadline management, and case organization.·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.·      Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.·      Strong attention to detail, initiative, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic case management software.
Preferred Experience·      Experience handling automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death matters.·      Experience assisting with jury trial preparation and complex litigation.·      Familiarity with medical record summaries, expert witness coordination, liens, and settlement disbursements.·      Experience working directly with clients and attorneys in a busy plaintiff personal injury practice.·      Experience with case management software, Filevine.
