The OpportunityCommercial General Contractor in Raleigh, NC, that is looking to hire an experienced Project Executive to join their senior leadership team. The company specializes in commercial construction, with a particular focus on education and government projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking to take the next step in their career, with a structured 6-month progression plan into a Division Manager position.
The successful candidate will initially oversee a portfolio of projects valued at $60M+, managing a team of 10+ project management professionals, before progressing into a broader divisional leadership role with full P&L responsibility.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee a portfolio of commercial construction projects valued at $60M+.Lead, mentor, and manage a project management team of 10+ across multiple projects.Provide strategic oversight to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.Take responsibility for divisional P&L, financial performance, and profitability.Establish divisional goals, budgets, and business plans, ensuring financial benchmarks are achieved.Oversee resource allocation, staffing, and operational performance across multiple projects.Implement company policies, procedures, and operational standards.Lead recruitment, team development, and succession planning.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.Work closely with the president and owner of the company to support the continued growth and development of the division.
What We're Looking ForExtensive project management experience within a commercial General Contractor.A proven track record of progressing through project management roles into senior leadership.Strong experience managing and developing teams of Project Managers and other construction professionals.Experience overseeing multiple projects and managing large construction portfolios.Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.Background in commercial construction, ideally with experience in education, government, or public-sector projects.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. xzbcwsv
