Chief Financial Officer - Real Estate

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Real Estate Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy, planning, compliance, reporting, fundraising, and risk management while supporting business growth and profitability. Candidates must have prior experience in real estate or property development. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives. * Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. * Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, and statutory compliance. * Manage project finance, construction finance, and real estate investment analysis. * Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, investors, and auditors for funding and financial matters. * Monitor project costs, profitability, and financial performance across multiple developments. * Ensure compliance with taxation, corporate laws, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards. * Develop financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks. * Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and senior management. * Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investment opportunities where applicable. * Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team. Required Qualifications * MBA (Finance),CA ,Post Graduation is an added advantage. * 15–20 years of progressive finance experience, with significant leadership experience in the real estate sector. * Proven expertise in project finance, budgeting, financial planning, taxation, and statutory compliance. * Strong understanding of real estate financial models, land acquisition, project costing, and funding structures. * Experience working with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools. * Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Preferred Skills * Strategic financial planning and decision-making. * Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
