Responsibilities include providing direct patient care to a variety of diagnostic categories and supervising rehabilitation technicians, volunteers, and students. Caseloads may consist of adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. The person in this position will function as a generalist while developing a specialization in a clinical area of interest. <p></p>***$10k Sign On Bonus Offer Incentive + Relocation Enhancement***<p></p> Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: <p></p> Patient Treatment: <p></p> Implements treatment plan utilizing current theory and practice; works towards established goals; modifies goals and treatment plan as necessary and indicated. <p></p> Documents treatment plan according to department policy and bills for services. <p></p> Coordinates appropriate follow up post discharge from care. <p></p> Patient Assessment: <p></p> Performs functions related to patient evaluation/re-evaluation, goal setting, and discharge planning according to department policy and procedures. <p></p> Documents findings according to department policy and bills for services. Ensures findings are shared with appropriate individuals and provides necessary follow up. <p></p> Education: <p></p> Provides a positive learning environment for observers, volunteers, students, and co-workers. <p></p> Willingly accepts learners and ensures learning objectives are achieved. Provides learning opportunities for department staff on topics related to clinical specialty. <p></p> Productivity: <p></p> Meets departmental productivity standards. <p></p> Takes initiative to insure that established productivity standard is met on an ongoing and regular basis. <p></p> Takes an active role in servicing patients with immediate needs. <p></p> Documents productivity in a timely manner.
