SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities • Perform ABAP development and enhancement activities. • Design and implement DDIC changes, including domains, data elements, structures, and database objects. • Analyze and remediate code impacts resulting from field-length extensions and architectural changes. • Develop, adapt, and validate interfaces including RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, CDS Views, and OData services. • Perform root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and code optimization activities. • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards. • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and quality engineers throughout the development lifecycle. • Support testing, release preparation, deployment validation, and productization activities. Required Skills • Strong SAP S/4HANA development experience. • Advanced ABAP development and debugging expertise. • Deep understanding of SAP DDIC concepts and data models. • Experience with RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, CDS Views, and OData services. • Experience in large-scale remediation and enhancement projects. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
