Account Manager- Grounds Maintenance & Landscape Enhancements

Glen Allen Grounds is seeking an experienced, relationship-focused Account Manager to join our growing team.

We are a well-established Richmond-area landscaping company specializing in high-quality grounds maintenance, landscape enhancements, and outdoor living spaces. We take pride in our craftsmanship, communication, and the long-term relationships we build with our clients.
This is a client-facing role combining account management, property oversight, estimating, and sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop relationships with residential and select commercial maintenance clients.Conduct regular property inspections to evaluate service quality and identify improvements.Prepare customized maintenance proposals and landscape enhancement estimates.Respond promptly to client inquiries and new sales opportunities.Work closely with our operations team to coordinate job expectations, materials, scheduling, and execution.Oversee client satisfaction and follow up on completed projects.Assist with landscape installation layouts and project planning when necessary.Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships while maintaining profitability and service standards.
Qualifications
Experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, landscape enhancements, or a closely related field preferred.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to prepare estimates, manage multiple priorities, and maintain organized client records.Working knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and plant material.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Comfortable working both in the office and outdoors at client properties.
