The facility operates as an outpatient addiction medicine clinic delivering MAT services to an adult patient population. Clinical workflows are structured to support consistent and coordinated medication-assisted treatment delivery throughout the assignment period. The clinic maintains established protocols to accommodate locum tenens coverage on an on-site basis.

The assignment area is situated approximately one hour from Newport, Rhode Island, a coastal destination known for its Gilded Age mansions and the scenic Cliff Walk along the waterfront. The region offers a range of activities, including harbor cruises, water sports on Narragansett Bay, wine tastings, food tours, and visits to the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Additional day trip options are accessible to destinations such as Block Island and Mystic, Connecticut, providing varied recreational and cultural opportunities during time away from the assignment.

Clinicians will provide outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to an adult patient population at an on-site clinic, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is 8-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing MAT intakes, dose adjustments, and annual physicals. Prescriptive authority is required; no call coverage is required for this assignment.
