Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate faculty member to teach Front Office Operations and Food & Beverage Service to our hospitality management students. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry exposure combined with a genuine interest in mentoring the next generation of hospitality professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver theoretical and practical training in Front Office Operations (reservations, guest relations, check-in/check-out procedures, night audit, PMS systems) and Food & Beverage Service (table service, bar operations, banquet service, beverage knowledge, guest interaction)
Plan and conduct engaging classroom sessions, lab/practical demonstrations, and skill-based workshops
Design and evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations
Guide students on industry certifications, internships, and placements
Stay updated with evolving industry trends, technology, and service standards, and integrate them into the curriculum
Mentor students on grooming, soft skills, and professional etiquette relevant to guest-facing roles
Coordinate with industry partners for guest lectures, site visits, and internship tie-ups
Maintain lab/practical area standards and ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant industry experience in Front Office and/or F&B Service (hotel or teaching experience preferred)
Prior teaching/training experience is an added advantage
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Passion for mentoring and developing young talent
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with PMS/POS systems preferred
