Job OverviewA law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate for its Securities and Public Company Advisory department in New York, NY, or Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring at a major law firm, with a focus on large restructurings and representing creditors.
DutiesAssist in large restructuring transactions and litigation.Represent creditors, particularly secured creditors, in restructuring matters.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues.
Requirements3-6 years of experience in bankruptcy/restructuring at a major law firm.Experience in both transactional and litigation aspects of restructuring.Membership in the Bar in the United States.
EducationLaw degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
CertificationsBar membership in the United States.
SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
