Job Description – Zonal Manager (Sales & Admissions)

Location: Chandigarh University, Mohali Campus

Reporting To: GM Admissions

Role Purpose

The Zonal Manager will be responsible for driving student enrollment, managing regional outreach activities, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving admission targets across assigned territories. The role requires strong leadership, sales acumen, and relationship management skills to expand Chandigarh University's reach and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Admissions Growth

Achieve assigned admission and enrollment targets for the designated zone. Develop and execute regional admission strategies to maximize student conversions. Monitor lead pipelines and ensure timely follow-up and conversion of prospective students.

Team Management

Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of counselors and admission professionals. Drive team productivity through regular reviews, coaching, and performance tracking. Ensure achievement of individual and team admission goals.

Outreach & Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and educational partners. Plan and execute seminars, workshops, career counseling sessions, and admission events. Identify new markets and growth opportunities within the assigned territory.

Stakeholder Management

Develop relationships with principals, counselors, educational consultants, and key influencers. Represent Chandigarh University at education fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.

CRM & Reporting

Ensure effective utilization of CRM systems for lead management and conversion tracking. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. Analyze admission trends and market intelligence to improve conversion rates.
