- Private Client Solicitor Location: Birmingham Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking a Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor to join its established and collaborative team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to manage a varied caseload of complex private client matters, advising high-net-worth individuals, families, landowners and business owners on wealth preservation, succession planning and intergenerational wealth transfer.
You will have the autonomy to manage your own matters, develop client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice, while working closely with colleagues across the firm's wider network.
Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload covering wills, trusts, probate, estate administration and inheritance tax planning.
Advise clients on succession planning, wealth preservation and asset protection.
Build and develop long-term client relationships, generating repeat business and new instructions.
Identify cross-referral opportunities across the firm's property, corporate and other practice areas.
Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff.
Maintain high standards of client care, compliance, file management and billing.
Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the private client team.
About You The successful candidate will have: Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales , with substantial private client experience.
Strong technical expertise across wills, trusts, probate and inheritance tax planning.
Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and/or landowners.
Excellent communication, client relationship and organisational skills.
A commercial mindset, with the ability to manage matters independently and identify business development opportunities.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
