Locum ACP

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work for a GP practice in Bristol. This role is ideal for an experienced ACP from a nursing, paramedic, or allied health background who can deliver autonomous clinical assessments, safe decision-making and efficient patient management within a structured primary care environment.You will join an established multidisciplinary team and run your own clinics, supporting both urgent and routine patient demand. The practice offers clear pathways, strong administrative support and a smooth workflow to ensure effective session delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesConducting acute and same-day access clinicsAutonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentationsTelephone triage and clinical streamingOrdering and interpreting investigationsPrescribing safely within scope (where qualified)Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflowsDocumenting clearly using the practice clinical systemRequirementsAdvanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate)Background may be Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similarIndependent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) preferredRecent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settingsConfident autonomous clinician with strong decision-making skillsFamiliarity with EMIS, SystmOne or VisionEnhanced DBSWorking PatternFlexible sessions up to 4 days per weekMorning and afternoon clinics availableLong-term and ongoing sessions offered #J-18808-Ljbffr
