Location: Ahmedabad | Work Mode: On-site Experience: 1–2 Years Domain: Australian Taxation About the Role We’re looking for a Tax Accountant with 1–2 years of Australian taxation experience to join our growing Ahmedabad team. If you have hands-on experience with Australian tax returns, ATO compliance, tax preparation, and accounting software, this could be a great opportunity to take the next step in your career. You’ll work closely with Australian clients and experienced team members, gaining exposure to a wide range of taxation matters and developing your expertise in Australian tax. What You’ll Do Prepare and review Australian tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships. Assist with tax planning and identify opportunities to legally minimise clients’ tax liabilities. Work on areas including Division 7A, FBT, CGT, GST, and individual/entity taxation. Review tax files and identify potential risks, issues, and opportunities. Communicate with Australian clients and respond to their tax-related queries. Work closely with managers and Australian-based clients to resolve taxation matters. Prepare professional correspondence, working papers, schedules, and supporting documentation. Assist with ATO lodgements, audits, and compliance requirements. Stay updated with changes in Australian tax legislation and apply them accurately. What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Australian taxation/accounting. Good understanding of Australian tax concepts including Division 7A, FBT, CGT, GST, and income tax. Experience with ATO Online Services, Tax Agent Portal, and tax lodgement processes is preferred. Experience with Australian accounting/tax software. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Good written and spoken English communication. Ability to manage multiple client files and meet deadlines. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
