Phlebotomy Technician Job Description: Phlebotomy Technician - Cambridge, MN, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The Phlebotomy Technician is responsible for accurately performing and processing, Point of Care Testing (POC), venous and capillary blood collection from adults, infants, and children and all related functions. Pay range: $23.00 - $28.00 / hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Depending on whether it is a part-time or full-time position, some of the benefits offered may include: Day 1 Medical, supplemental health, dental objects in the weight range of 16 to 25 pounds are lifted and carried occasionally and objects in the weight range of 26 to 40 pounds are seldom lifted and carried. Objects exceeding 41 pounds are not to be lifted or carried without assistance. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time; requires long hours of eye and hand coordination. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with dominant hand frequently to constantly throughout the day. Position requires travel. Extensive use of phone and PC. Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness. Talking. Walking. Balancing. Bending/kneeling. Pushing/pulling. Reaching/twisting. Knowledge, Education and Skills Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
