Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Sundays: Closed Responsibilities include overseeing the complete prescription processing and dispensing cycle, communicating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure seamless service delivery. You will be managing and supervising the pharmacy technician team and responsible for opening and closing the pharmacy each day. The role demands a proactive approach to pharmacy operations and compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience Prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) is highly preferred Valid California pharmacist license (in-hand) Immunization certification required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Capability to manage regulatory paperwork related to the PIC role Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system is essential This contract role suits a pharmacist who thrives in a leadership position and is ready to take charge quickly.
