Mechanical Systems Engineer

Day-to-Day:Serve as the technical owner/SME for HVAC, ventilation, compressed air, plumbing, water, and fire-protection systemsSupport mechanical utility systems from design and specification through installation, commissioning, startup, and operationWork directly with contractors on-site to verify correct equipment and system installationDevelop installation checklists and verify work against drawings, specifications, and operating requirementsReview P&IDs, layouts, mechanical drawings, calculations, vendor submittals, and control narrativesSupport system layouts, equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, ventilation xzbcwsv requirements, capacity evaluations, and equipment selectionCoordinate utility requirements with process-equipment suppliers, contractors, engineering partners, and internal stakeholdersTroubleshoot mechanical system performance, controls, capacity, equipment, and reliability issuesIdentify improvements to safety, efficiency, maintainability, reliability, and production capabilityTrack system utilization, uptime, and KPIs to support uninterrupted productionSupport capital projects and facility modificationsHelp manage utility consumption, operating expenses, and asset lifecycle costs
