Performs all procedures under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist. Be the difference.Performs respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with the physician's order, departmental policy, and the Respiratory Care Guidelines (RT Consult). May not take verbal orders or modify orders. Documents and charges for respiratory care procedures and provides patient and family education.Communicates well with supervisors, therapists and technicians.

Provides a complete and accurate reportMay perform blood gasses from all sites.

Analyzes and reports results.Adheres to infection control and quality initiatives.

Performs appropriate cleaning/disinfection of equipment between patients as indicated by equipment type and isolation status.
