Azure Migration SpecialistLocation: Indianapolis- Hybrid
Role OverviewSeeking an experienced Azure Migration Specialist to lead the migration and modernization of 40–50 production applications and websites, 30–40 scheduled jobs and services, and numerous SQL Server databases from on-premises environments to Azure.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess application portfolios and develop migration strategies (rehost, replatform, or refactor).Design and implement secure Azure landing zones, networking, governance, and identity controls.Containerize legacy .NET Framework/IIS applications and deploy workloads to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) where appropriate.Migrate SQL Server databases, SSIS packages, and SQL Agent jobs, including cutover and rollback planning.Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Server.Modernize scheduled jobs using AKS CronJobs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or SQL Agent.Collaborate with Engineering, DBA, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable, and supportable Azure solutions.Required SkillsAzure architecture, Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Policy, and governance.Azure networking, ExpressRoute, VPN, private endpoints, DNS, Entra ID, and RBAC.Terraform, AKS, Docker, Helm, Azure Container Registry, and GitOps (Flux/Argo CD).Legacy .NET/IIS containerization and application migration strategies.SQL Server, Azure SQL, Managed Instance, Azure Database Migration Service, SSIS, and SQL Agent.Azure security, monitoring, and observability tools. xzbcwsv Azure DevOps and GitHub CI/CD pipeline development.
