Job Description
Title - Desk-Side/Desktop SupportLocation - Colonial Heights, VAExperienced Desk-Side/Desktop Support professional with 7+ years of experience in providing technical support for Windows environments, hardware, software, and network-related issues. Strong expertise in Active Directory, ServiceNow/ITSM tools, asset management, laptop/desktop/printer support, VPN connectivity, and remote troubleshooting tools. Experienced in incident, change, and rollout management, with hands-on knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server environments. Skilled in customer support, phone-based technical assistance, problem resolution, documentation, and maintaining high service quality. ITIL knowledge and certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, A+, Cisco, or HDI are preferred.

Skill RequirementsTechnical Requirements • · Phone support experience necessary. • · Technical Service desk or technical call center experience is necessary. • · Disciplined, systematic problem solving skills required. • · Windows Operating systems • · Clients: Windows XP, Windows 10 • · Servers: Windows 2008/2012/2016 • · Knowledge of Active Directory • · ITSM ticketing tools such as Service now , Remedy, HP Service Center, Peregrine Service Center • · Remote desktop connectivity applications like Team Viewer, SMS, Bomgar, WebEx, Live Meeting, and Windows Native tools • · MS Office Suite MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook, MS Project, and MS Visio • · Internet browsers (e.g. Explorer, Chrome, Firefox), • · VPN and remote dial-in users • · Support for laptop, desktops, and printers all models • · PDA and blackberry support • · Others: Adobe Acrobat and other common desktop applications like WinZip, etcMust Have Skills1. Compensation and BenefitsA candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year. xzbcwsv
