Audit Senior

Our client, an industry-leading regional CPA firm headquartered in Miami is looking for driven accounting professional to join its growing Audit practice. You’ll work with clients to strengthen the quality and efficiency of their audits while supporting sound financial decision-making. The role centers on leading the planning of financial statement audits, developing engagement budgets, preparing financial statements, and applying the firm’s audit methodology and procedures to deliver high-quality results that meet professional standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a range of assurance services, including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, and internal control testingAddress and resolve client questions and issues related to audit engagements in a timely mannerExpand technical knowledge by analyzing complex client transactions and emerging accounting mattersStay current on auditing standards, guidance, and industry developmentsContribute to audit planning, risk assessment, and researchMaintain strong client relationships through clear communication, effective prioritization, and consistent delivery against deadlinesCollaborate with the audit team on client service, professional growth, and business development activities
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation; Master’s degree preferredGeneral industry client experience (hospitality, construction, real estate, manufacturing, professional services, etc.) highly preferredCPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam preferredStrong analytical abilities and technical accounting/auditing skillsClear communicator xzbcwsv who can present findings and recommendations effectively to both internal teams and external clients (written and verbal)Comfortable working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment focused on delivering results and refining processesTeam-oriented with solid relationship-building skills4+ years of progressive audit experience
