Assistant Manager/Manager - Student Engagement

Position: Assistant Manager/Manager - Student Engagement Location: Head office (Kolkata) with ability to travel to other centres as necessary Job description: 1. Managing student enquiries, student counselling and ensure admission to different courses of SFS at various centres 2. Capacity-building among Centre-level staff (administrative and faculty) towards creating an informative, friendly, professional and result-oriented counselling/admission process 3. Student engagement calendar and its implementation across all centres uniformly 4. Guardian/Parent engagement calendar and its implementation across all centres uniformly and understanding the motivating factors 5. Building a referral network from among the parents and other key stakeholders for student admission 6. Formation of SFS alumni association and developing a calendar of activities and engagement plan Qualification & Experience: Post-graduate in Sociology, Psychology, Communication (social, mass, marketing, social anthropology, rural development etc.), Business administration, HR. Min. seven (7) years total, including – · At least three (3) years working with similar youth groups · Health sector experience of 3-4 years Skill sets: · Effective communication skill · Team-building · Training & Development · Student engagement · Familiarity and understanding of target student groups from among GenZ Attributes: · Must have societal and behavioral understanding of rural youths, specially girls, from economically disadvantaged groups, including their financial environment and economical behaviour. · Demonstrated ability in familiarizing youths from such backgrounds about employment opportunities in health sector and motivating them to enroll for training. · Personality and patience to be able to engage with parents/guardians/opinion-leaders/teachers in schools/colleges. · Sound telephone etiquette, as most of the conversations will be over phone/online video meetings. · Proficient in Bengali, Hindi, English Send us your resumes on -
