About Us

We are a growing consulting firm providing financial modeling, CFO advisory, accounting, and business consulting services to startups and small to mid-sized businesses in the United States. We are looking for a detail-oriented Quick Books Online Accountant to manage accounting for multiple client accounts.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities

Manage bookkeeping for multiple US-based client accounts. Record and categorize transactions in Quick Books Online. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Maintain the Chart of Accounts following accounting best practices. Record journal entries and adjusting entries. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare accurate financial statements, including: Profit & Loss Balance Sheet Cash Flow Statement Identify bookkeeping errors and investigate discrepancies. Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation. Communicate with clients regarding missing information and accounting queries. Work closely with senior accountants and consultants on client engagements. Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands-on Quick Books Online experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP and US accounting principles. Experience handling multiple client books. Excellent knowledge of: Double-entry accounting Debits and credits Bank reconciliations Journal entries Month-end close Financial statements Comfortable working with US clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good written and spoken English. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a consulting firm, CPA firm, or bookkeeping practice. Familiarity with startup and professional services businesses. Experience with payroll accounting is a plus. Experience with sales tax and 1099 reporting is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
