You've built experience, now use it where bold ideas meet real impact. At Opella, we're challenging how self-care works for millions of people and need leaders and experts ready to shape what's next. As an SAP Functional Expert – Treasury, you'll bring your skill, your curiosity and your drive to make health simpler, smarter and more human.

About the job

The SAP Treasury functional expert role is a pivotal, senior position within the digital business solution team for Opella. Acting as an internal SAP consultant and design authority, you will own the functional integrity of the global Treasury application landscape — from SAP TRM and Polaris deployments through to day-to-day run and support — and ensure treasury processes, systems and business requirements stay aligned.

This is a role with a long horizon. Beyond deployment and continuous enhancement, you will help shape and deliver Opella's 2027–2030 transformation roadmap as the company moves towards a single global ERP strategy, setting the direction for Treasury within it rather than only executing against it.

Main Responsibilities

Business partnership & governance

Act as the senior liaison to global Treasury and Finance stakeholders, working within defined governance frameworks and proactively recommending process and system improvements. Build and maintain a deep understanding of Treasury business processes — cash management, liquidity planning, bank account management, financial risk management, payments and in-house banking — and assess the application landscape for strengths, gaps and integration opportunities. Provide consultative support on business-led technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with Digital, Finance and enterprise standards. Challenge constructively: translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable functional designs rather than one-off fixes.

Solution design & technical authority

Lead solution design and fit-gap analysis for SAP TRM and Polaris deployments across the global landscape. Validate and approve solution designs delivered by project teams and external partners, ensuring consistency, compliance, auditability and end-to-end financial integration. Provide deep functional and technical expertise across SAP Treasury and Finance modules — TRM, Cash & Liquidity Management, In-House Cash, Bank Account Management, Bank Communication Management, Multi-Bank Connectivity and FSCM. Ensure successful implementation and integration of SAP Treasury modules on S/4 HANA, and seamless integration with SAP FI/CO and adjacent financial systems.

Transformation & project delivery

Contribute to and drive the 2027–2030 ERP transformation roadmap for Treasury as Opella converges on a single global ERP. Lead or support end-to-end delivery of Business Value Projects, from business case creation through implementation and KPI monitoring. Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies (Unit, SIT, UAT), define test cases and follow through to sign-off. Oversee data migration and cut-over planning for go-live readiness, and steer Hypercare until projects transition cleanly to BAU. Surface issues and risks early, identify the right stakeholders, and keep delivery decisions transparent.

Run, support & continuous improvement

Ensure business continuity and effective ways of working with the ERP Support and Platform teams on incident management. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting and optimization across the Treasury domain (cash, payments, risk, investments, bank interfaces); ensure incidents are resolved within SLA and drive root cause analysis on recurring or critical issues. Partner with Product Owners and Business Owners to prioritize the enhancement backlog, reducing incident volume and improving stability and user experience. Ensure the system is well documented and that documentation stays current.

Collaboration, change & adoption

Engage with Architecture, Integration and Data teams so Treasury applications follow best practice in design, integration patterns, security and data management; contribute to the evolution of those enterprise standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define master data, analytics, authorizations and UX strategies. Drive change management and training initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new systems. Act as key liaison with SAP development teams and external partners for incident resolution and co-innovation.
