Job SummaryGeisinger Community Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our skilled team of critical care providers, practicing state-of-the-art medicine with support from excellent physicians and nursing staff.Job DutiesWork 14 shifts/monthMix of days/nights. 100% nights are available for additional stipend and incentives 12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7amServe in a collaborative role with the physician and staff in assessing needs, planning and providing education and care, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating follow-up and referrals for patientsFunction as a patient advocate in the medical care system as confidant, advisor and liaison between patients, families and physiciansMoonlighting available for extra income
