Designation: General Manager - Corporate Strategy Experience: 15 years Job Location: Worli, Mumbai Education: MBA/PGDM in Strategy, Business Management Industry Preference: Candidates from the Power Industry preferred Purpose & Role of the Position This role will be responsible for shaping and driving Karamtara Engineering Ltd.’s long-term strategic vision. The role will involve close collaboration with the CEO/Chairman and liaison with all Heads of Departments (HODs) to ensure effective translation of strategic objectives into actionable implementation plans. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and refine the corporate strategy in alignment with the CEO/Chairman’s vision. Translate strategic objectives into detailed implementation roadmaps. Monitor execution progress and ensure accountability across departments. 2. Cross-Functional Liaison Act as the strategic interface between the CEO/Chairman and HODs. Facilitate collaboration across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, and HR. Ensure departmental strategies are aligned with overall corporate objectives. 3. Market & Industry Analysis Conduct in-depth analysis of infrastructure and steel-based sectors, including towers, solar structures, poles, and construction. Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities for diversification and growth. Benchmark the company against competitors and recommend strategic positioning. 4. Business Growth & Innovation Drive initiatives for new market entry, product diversification, and global expansion. Evaluate and recommend strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A opportunities. Promote innovation, technology adoption, process improvement, and sustainability initiatives. 5. Governance & Reporting Prepare board-level reports, dashboards, and strategic presentations. Track KPIs and ensure measurable outcomes from strategic initiatives. Provide regular updates to the CEO/Chairman on progress, key challenges, and opportunities. Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with 15 years of experience , preferably from the Power, Infrastructure, Steel, Transmission & Distribution, or related industries , with strong expertise in corporate strategy, business transformation, and growth initiatives.
