Job Description
We're looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our Karachi team. You'll work on exciting projects for clients across the Gulf region, building custom WordPress solutions that drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
- Optimize WordPress sites for performance and SEO
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues
- Ensure website security and implement best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with WordPress development
- Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery)
- Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and best practices
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Understanding of responsive design principles
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with WooCommerce development
- Knowledge of React or Vue.js
- Experience with headless WordPress
- Familiarity with WordPress REST API
- Understanding of web hosting and server management
