International Delivery Express Pvt. Ltd. (IDE Logistics) is an Islamabad-headquartered courier and cargo company serving individuals, businesses, and e-commerce sellers with international parcel delivery and commercial shipping to the UK, USA, Canada, and Europe. The company provides air cargo, shipment documentation, tracking support, and door-to-door delivery solutions.

We are seeking an Accountant to support accurate financial operations as the business manages shipping and logistics activity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger records and prepare routine journal entries, reconciliations, and account schedules.
• Process and review invoices, receipts, payments, and expense claims, ensuring transactions are supported by appropriate documentation.
• Reconcile bank accounts and customer and vendor balances; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing, financial statements, and management reports.
• Monitor receivables and payables, follow up on outstanding items, and help maintain reliable cash-flow records.
• Organize financial documents and support tax filings, audits, and compliance with applicable accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with operations and other teams to verify shipment-related charges and maintain accurate financial records.

Job Specification

• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting, general ledgers, and account reconciliation.
• Experience preparing journal entries, financial schedules, and routine monthly reports.
• Competence in processing invoices, accounts payable and receivable, expense records, and payment documentation.
• Strong spreadsheet skills, including formulas, sorting, and organizing financial data; familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Accuracy and attention to detail when handling transaction records and identifying discrepancies.
• Ability to organize supporting documents and assist with audit, tax, and financial close requirements.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills for coordinating financial information with logistics and operations colleagues.
• Professional integrity, discretion with confidential financial data, and ability to meet deadlines.
