We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. If you take pride in being organized, anticipating the dentist's needs, providing excellent patient care, and keeping a clinical environment running smoothly, we'd love to meet you.
This is a hands-on position with opportunities to develop your clinical skills, cross-train with the team, and grow professionally.
What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, trays, instruments, and materials.
- Capture diagnostic radiographs and intraoral photographs.
- Perform digital impressions/scanning and take preliminary impressions.
- Place and remove rubber dams.
- Provide patients with appropriate post-operative instructions.
- Update medical histories and maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting.
- Maintain excellent infection-control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
- Turn over and prepare operatories efficiently.
- Maintain clinical equipment, supplies, inventory, and emergency-kit readiness.
- Prepare, receive, inspect, and ship laboratory cases.
- Assist with emergency and same-day appointments.
- Help maintain patient comfort and an exceptional patient experience.
- Monitor patient flow and appointment timeliness.
- Participate in morning huddles and team meetings.
- Review upcoming schedules and help ensure operatories are prepared for the following day.
- Communicate proactively with the dentist and clinical team.
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes and efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Strong chairside assisting and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning new technology and clinical procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
