Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:Serve as a primary resource for clients on year-round tax matters and planning considerations.Guide individuals and business owners through tax compliance requirements while delivering practical solutions tailored to their circumstances.Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to identify reporting issues, planning opportunities, and tax-saving strategies.Develop accurate tax filings across a variety of entity structures and ownership arrangements.Partner with clients to address regulatory inquiries and navigate communications from tax agencies.Evaluate accounting records and financial activity to ensure information is properly reflected for reporting purposes.Advise small business clients on bookkeeping questions, financial organization, and general accounting needs.Coordinate multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.Monitor filing requirements and key deadlines to ensure timely completion of engagements.Contribute to a high-service client experience by building strong, lasting professional relationships.
Qualifications:Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.Professional experience supporting tax compliance and reporting functions.Background working with individual taxpayers as well as privately held business entities.Understanding of pass-through entity taxation and business tax concepts.CPA credential or progress toward licensure is highly desirable.Experience utilizing professional tax applications, accounting software, and advanced spreadsheet functionality.Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to independently research technical tax issues.Proven ability to organize priorities and perform effectively during high-volume periods. xzbcwsv Commitment to delivering accurate work and exceptional client service.
