Social Media Marketing Coordinator

Position SummaryThe Social Media Marketing Coordinator is the operational backbone of our social media program. You'll work directly with the Senior Social Media Manager to keep our content moving, community thriving, and team operations running smoothly. This role is part coordinator, part content creator, and part operations specialist, requiring expertise across platform posting, community engagement, video content creation, and team operations.

You'll need to be responsive to social trends and platform changes, maintain high attention to detail in all deliverables, and be comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where priorities evolve based on business needs.
ResponsibilitiesPost content across all Relatable social channels on schedule and ensure optimization for each platformMonitor comments, DMs, and community activity across all platforms, responding to inquiries and engaging meaningfully in inbound and outbound contentPartner with paid and organic team to source content for usage opportunities, securing usage rights as neededContribute to social brainstorms, staying on top of platform trends and identifying unique concepts to executeWrite social media copy, captions, and messaging across platforms; adapt scripts for different platforms and audiencesAssist with content creation as needed, both behind the camera and in front of itAssist Senior Social Media Manager with reporting, analytics, and performance trackingHandle admin tasks including scheduling, billing, account management, product shipping/fulfillment, and influencer outreach logisticsSupport the Senior Social Media Manager and broader team with various tasks and special projects as priorities shift
Qualifications2+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, or community managementStrong knowledge of current social media platforms and trends (especially TikTok)Excellent writing and copywriting skillsComfortable being on camera and creating video contentProficiency with social media management tools and platformsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslyDetail-oriented with strong quality control instincts
Preferred QualificationsExperience creating still and social video contentExperience with community management and audience engagementFamiliarity with influencer partnerships or creator relationsExperience using Sprout or comparable social tools

The Legal BitsThe salary range for this role is $29.00 - $33.00 hourly, plus eligible for an annual target bonus prorated from the start date. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
