Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Shopify & Word Press Developer with strong expertise in e-commerce development, custom themes and plugins, API integrations, website performance optimization, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing production websites and developing scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Shopify and Word Press websites using Liquid, PHP, Java Script, HTML, CSS, and platform APIs. Develop custom Shopify features, themes, cart/checkout functionality, promotions, discounts, and e-commerce workflows. Develop and maintain custom Word Press plugins, themes, custom post types, shortcodes, and admin functionality. Build Shopify apps and Word Press integrations using APIs, webhooks, Node.js, Remix, PHP, and third-party services. Integrate and manage third-party checkout, payment, shipping, marketing, analytics, and automation platforms... Optimize Shopify and Word Press websites for performance and Core Web Vitals, including LCP, INP, CLS, and FCP. Build e-commerce automations using Pabbly, Google Sheets, APIs, and webhooks for pricing, promotions, and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify, Word Press, plugin, theme, PHP, Liquid, Java Script, database, integration, and server-related issues. Implement responsive, mobile-friendly, and conversion-focused UI/UX improvements. Perform functional, performance, security, and regression testing and ensure production stability. Monitor and resolve 404 errors, broken links, Java Script errors, plugin conflicts, and website performance issues. Collaborate with business, design, marketing, and development teams to deliver scalable and production-ready solutions.

Preferred Experience

3+ years of professional experience in Shopify and Word Press development. Hands-on experience working with production Shopify and Word Press websites. Strong understanding of Shopify's theme architecture and Word Press architecture. Experience developing complex e-commerce, promotional, cart, and checkout functionalities. Proven experience developing and maintaining custom Word Press plugins and themes. Experience troubleshooting third-party applications, plugins, integrations, payment gateways, and checkout solutions. Strong understanding of website security, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals. Experience working with APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, and external services. Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and deliver solutions within timelines. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with business, design, marketing, and development teams.
