Network architect

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) Network SME specializing in Omni Switch product lines and Omni Vista 2500 management platform. The role requires deep technical expertise to support design, implementation, and L4 escalation for complex enterprise environments, including mission-critical deployments such as healthcare/hospital networks.
This is not a generic network role— hands-on, proven experience with ALE switching technologies is mandatory.
Design & Architecture
Lead end-to-end network design using ALE Omni Switch platforms (Access, Aggregation, Core).
Develop high-availability architectures for enterprise/hospital-grade environments.
Create HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, and deployment plans.
Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and uptime requirements (especially healthcare-critical systems).
Implementation & Deployment
Execute and oversee deployment of Omni Switch (6xxx/7xxx/9xxx series).
Perform network migrations, upgrades, and cutovers with minimal downtime.
Configure advanced features including:
SPB (Shortest Path Bridging)
VLANs, VRFs, Qo S
Multicast, Layer 2/3 protocols
Network segmentation for clinical systems
