Trademark Associate - Washington, DCOur client is a top Am law 100 firm, seeking a mid-level trademark associate for its Washington, DC office. The salary for this position is between $215k to $355k.

Qualifications5-7 years of trademark experience in a law firm, including managing large global trademark portfolios for sophisticated clients.Experience with trademark prosecution, enforcement, portfolio management, and TTAB proceedings.Performing trademark clearance searches utilizing Corsearch, Saegis, and the USPTO system.Counseling clients on trademark selection, registrability, use, enforcement, and portfolio management.Drafting and responding to cease-and-desist letters and advising on trademark enforcement strategies.Experience with Madrid Protocol filings, litigating contested TTAB proceedings, and negotiating agreements [coexistence, consent, settlement, and license] is a plus, although not required.Familiarity with domain name disputes, social media takedowns, online brand enforcement, anti-counterfeiting programs, customs recordation, and AI-assisted legal research and trademark search tools is also a plus.State bar admission with ability to become admitted in the District of Columbia is required.All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
