GrubPac builds electric last-mile delivery infrastructure — EV two-wheeler fleets fitted with our own connected, temperature-controlled Smart Boxes for cold-chain delivery. Commercial pilots with two of India's largest food and dairy brands go live in January 2027.

We're bringing our electronics design capability in-house. This role owns it.

What you'll do

• Own the full PCB cycle for the Smart Box: architecture, schematic capture, multi-layer layout, fab and assembly release
• Become the source of truth for our hardware — complete schematic, layout, BOM and revision documentation for existing and new boards
• Redesign current hardware for cost, reliability, component consolidation and manufacturability at fleet scale
• Design and validate power across both variants: DC architectures with battery management, and AC compressor-driven units on direct 170–240V mains
• Integrate temperature/environmental sensing, GPS-LTE telemetry and display control; work with our firmware team on interface definition and bring-up
• Run bench, thermal and vibration validation plus field failure analysis on units riding Indian roads
• Manage EMS and component vendors from prototype through production ramp, and drive EMI/EMC and BIS compliance

What we're looking for

• 4–8 years designing production electronics that shipped in volume — IoT, embedded, automotive, appliance or power electronics
• Strong Altium / KiCad / OrCAD skills across schematic and multi-layer layout
• Mixed-signal and power fundamentals: SMPS, DC-DC, BMS, compressor/motor control, protection circuits
• Hands-on ability to analyse, document and improve existing boards on the bench
• IPC standards, DFM/DFA, EMI/EMC and thermal design; comfort with scope, logic analyser and thermal camera
• Experience with Indian EMS and component suppliers
• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or related (we prioritise skills over degrees)

Bonus: cold-chain or HVAC control systems, ruggedised/IP-rated hardware, embedded C literacy, or having stood up a hardware function at a startup.

CTC: As per industry standards, commensurate with experience.

You won't be iterating on a component of a component. You'll own the electronics of a product going into commercial fleet deployment in January 2027 — and have the authority to change it.
