Product Specialist, Technology Solutions 100% Remote within California, Must reside in California

We are seeking a Product Specialist to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. The Product Specialist, Technology Solutions owns the bridge between business needs and technology solutions. This role leads collaboration with stakeholders, manages cross‑functional teams on behalf of product owners, and drives the product backlog to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
Reporting to the Product Manager, Technology Solutions, the specialist advances FoundationCCC’s mission through portfolio management of technology initiatives for internal programs, Collaborative Impact Partners, and the CCC Chancellor’s Office. These initiatives focus on systemic change within California Community Colleges and impacted communities through cross-departmental collaboration.
The Product Specialist, Technology Solutions ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Drive exploration of new tools or technologies that advance product goals
Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and the development team, clarifying requirements
Serve as Scrum Master: plan sprints, estimate effort, and drive Agile cadence
Lead testing coordination with QA and development to ensure features meet defined acceptance criteria
Minimum of 2+ years of related work experience in project management of applications and/or websites required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, and other collaboration tools
Experience in setting and achieving Key Performance Indicators
Project management experience required
Agile project management experience preferred
Experience in a technical support or user assistance role is preferred
Experience developing or contributing to support materials such as documentation, FAQs, or video guides
Zendesk, ServiceNow, JIRA Service Desk) is a plus
