<p> Speech Language Pathologist </p><p> St. Ann’s Community is currently looking for a Speech Pathologist for the Rehab department located at the St. Ann’s Home in Irondequoit. The primary purpose of your job is to provide high quality evaluation and treatment services for individuals requiring Speech-Language Pathology Services. </p><p> St. Ann’s Community Offers: </p><ul><li> Full time position </li><li> Salary Range - $36.90 - $47.05/hr. </li><li> Health, Dental &amp; Vision Plans Available </li><li> 403(b) Retirement Plan </li><li> Life Insurance </li><li> Health Savings Account (Quarterly employer contribution) </li><li> Tuition and Scholarship Opportunities </li><li> Great benefits and perks such as a DashPass and discounted RTS Bus Pass program </li></ul><p> Job Description: </p><ul><li> Provide evaluation and treatment services for Patients, Residents, Participants and Outpatients of St. Ann’s Community as ordered by qualified medical practitioners. </li></ul><ul><li> Complete required documentation on time. </li><li> Ensure that notes are informative and descriptive of education and care provided and of the resident’s response to care; </li><li> Seek renewal of orders as required. </li><li> Communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Care Team. </li></ul><ul><li> Participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan Meetings and Rounds. </li></ul><ul><li> Participates in resident scheduling. </li></ul><ul><li> Maintain equipment in good working order and report equipment problems to Therapy Coordinator. </li></ul><ul><li> ­ Maintain an excellent working relationship with internal and external Customers. </li><li> Model positive, proactive, team-oriented behavior and upholds SLP standards. </li><li> Communicate actual and potential problems to the Therapy Coordinator in a timely manner. </li></ul><ul><li> Participate in meetings and on committees as requested </li></ul><ul><li> Provide guidance and training for therapy and nursing staff as needed and supports in-service education for staff, families, and patients/residents. </li></ul><ul><li> Act as a Clinical Instructor for SLP students. </li></ul><ul><li> Supports and upholds SLP standards </li></ul><ul><li> Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation Services or Therapy Coordinator. </li></ul><p> Candidate Requirements: </p><ul><li> M.A./M.S. or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. </li><li> Two years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred, with experience with adult and geriatric populations preferred. </li><li> CPR certification preferred. </li></ul><p> Join us in Caring for the Most Important People on Earth. </p><p> The employment policy of St. Ann’s Community is to provide equal opportunity to all persons.
