Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Gurgaon. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day tax advisory and compliance activities, including preparation, review, and filing of returns for various categories of assessees. The role involves interpreting tax laws and regulations, providing clear guidance to users through the app, and supporting the development of tax-related content and tools. The professional will collaborate with internal teams to validate solutions, ensure accuracy of information, and enhance the quality of services offered through the platform. Additional responsibilities may include financial reporting, reconciliations, and participation in process improvement initiatives to streamline tax and compliance workflows. Qualifications Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws. Experience in tax compliance and advisory, including preparation and review of tax returns and handling tax assessments. Skills in accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations, with proficiency in relevant accounting standards. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and legal requirements related to tax, compliance, and business law. Comfort with technology-driven environments, including use of tax software, ERP systems, and digital platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Clear and concise communication skills for explaining complex tax concepts to non-specialist users. Prior experience in app-based or consulting services is an advantage; exposure to a wide range of assessees is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Gurgaon and manage multiple assignments.
