Job Description
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer at Consultant level to support our real estate clients in CAPEX projects Internal audits. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong foundation in construction project management, quantity surveying, and technical due diligence. Key Responsibilities: Audit & Reporting: Participate in internal audits of real estate projects. Prepare risk and control matrices and audit reports. Bill Verification & Certification: Review contractor bills against GFC drawings, work orders, and measurement records. Validate non-tendered items and amendments. Review deductions for safety violations, advances, insurance, retention, and liquidated damages are accurately applied. Tendering and Procurement: Review inclusion of key clauses (liquidated damages, material wastage, cost escalation etc) in contracts Review vendor sourcing, RFP/RFQ processes, and tender communications. Assess competitive bidding outcomes and contractor shortlisting. Review vendor performance and evaluations Review open POs and WOs. Project Monitoring & Compliance: Review project schedule and site progress. Review adherence to quality and HSE standards. Review compliance with work order BOQ specifications. Review compliance with Labor laws, EHS regulations and other statutory compliances. Budgeting: Review budget preparation and actuals vs. Budget. Review final bill reconciliation for free Issue materials Contract administration: Review claims related to extra work and cost escalations. Review contractual compliances. Project Closeout: Review handover and closeout documents Skills & Competencies: Candidates with the following skills and competencies will be preferred: On-Site Execution, Quantity survey and Quality control. Cost Management (Estimation & Budgeting and Invoice Certification) Scheduling & MIS Reporting SAP Understanding Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and project management tools like MSP/Primavera P6 Strong analytical and documentation skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or postgraduate from NICMAR/RICS 3–6 years of in experience in construction project management with involvement in Project Planning and Scheduling, Quantity surveying and Invoice certification, Vendor Procurement, Design Management, Drawings & Specification Management, Site execution Management, Materials Procurement and Tracking Management, Quality Control/Assurance Management, Change control Management, etc. Experience working with contractors and real estate developers. PMP certification is a plus Exp: 3 to 6 Yrs CTC Upto 11 LPA Location: Indore
