What will your role be?
Scalian is seeking a Portfolio Management Officer to support a Digital Workplace transformation initiative, with a focus on project planning and coordination, portfolio reporting, financial oversight, and alignment with annual operating plans. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting project and portfolio management activities, coordinating multiple workstreams, monitoring budgets, and facilitating project execution within an Agile delivery environment.
This multi-disciplinary individual will help translate strategic roadmaps into actionable project plans, monitor progress against milestones and financial forecasts, track dependencies and risks, and provide management with the reporting and insights needed to support informed decisions.
Education:Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Qualifications/Work Experience:Proven experience in project management, project portfolio coordination, or a project management office (PMO) environment.Experience supporting project planning, coordination, execution, and financial monitoring.Ability to monitor project budgets, track actual spending against forecasts, identify discrepancies, and escalate financial risks.Experience preparing project status reports, portfolio dashboards, management presentations, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Experience coordinating multiple projects or workstreams, tracking dependencies, managing milestones, and monitoring delivery progress.Experience supporting annual operating plans, budget planning, financial forecasting, and resource or capacity planning.Ability to identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and schedule or budget variances, and facilitate appropriate follow-up actions.Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies, with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience considered a plus.Ability to collaborate across business, finance, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives.Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks is preferred. xzbcwsv Experience supporting Digital Workplace, IT transformation, or technology delivery initiatives is a plus.Location: This is a Hybrid role in Mobile, Alabama
