Solar project manager

We are hiring Project Managers to take ownership of solar EPC sites that are actively under execution. You will be the person accountable for a site from ground-breaking to commissioning: the schedule, the contractors, the material, the quality, the safety and the paperwork. This is not a desk role. You will split your time between our office and the site, and when something goes wrong at 7 am on a Sunday, you will be the one who sorts it out.

What You Will Do

Own end-to-end execution of one or more solar EPC sites, from civil works and mounting structures through module installation, DC/AC cabling, inverter and transformer installation, and evacuation line and substation works

Prepare and drive the project schedule, track daily progress and report to management with clear, honest updates

Manage EPC subcontractors, labour contractors and site engineers, and hold them to quality, timeline and safety standards

Coordinate material planning and dispatch with our procurement team so that site never waits on supply

Liaise with DISCOM, transmission utility, MNRE/state nodal agency officials, landowners and local authorities for approvals, inspections and grid connectivity

Control site costs, verify contractor bills and measurement sheets, and flag variances early

Enforce HSE practices on site and maintain full documentation for testing, commissioning and handover

Who We Are Looking For

B. E./B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering; PMP or equivalent is a plus

5–10 years in solar EPC project execution, with at least two utility-scale or ground-mounted projects delivered on site

Working knowledge of module mounting structures, string inverters, HT switchgear, transformers and 11/33/66 k V evacuation works

Confident, street-smart and comfortable dealing with contractors, government officials and village-level stakeholders

Someone who takes the lead and acts on their own initiative rather than waiting for instructions

Willing to be on site as needed and to travel across our project states; Hindi and English required, regional language a strong advantage

Comfortable with MS Project/Excel, DPR formats and basic Auto CAD reading
