Planner

Seeking a Planner III to support transmission and substation construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities: Develop construction and maintenance work packages, including scope, labor estimates, materials, tools, equipment, and required resources. Prepare construction estimates for labor hours, project durations, and resource needs. Coordinate with construction crews, project managers, and schedulers to prioritize work and improve efficiency. Review equipment history and identify additional maintenance opportunities and potential project risks. Monitor work progress, document variances, and address work package issues. Coordinate transmission clearances, switching requirements, and safety documentation. Conduct job site visits, walkdowns, and pre-construction meetings to verify project requirements and material availability. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of substation construction experience. Knowledge of ITOA or experience qualified in switching and tagging. Strong planning, estimating, organizational, and communication skills. Experience coordinating construction resources and maintenance activities.
