Hours: 39 hours per week

The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller / Setter with CAD experience to join a precision engineering and manufacturing business in Stoke-on-Trent.
This role would suit a skilled machinist who enjoys working on varied engineering projects, producing precision components and taking responsibility for machine set-ups and production quality.
The successful candidate will have experience working with Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machinery, be confident interpreting engineering drawings and have some CAD knowledge to support the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
Work with Fanuc-controlled machinery.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Use CAD software to assist with drawings and component preparation.
Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling and work-holding equipment.
Manufacture components to the required specifications and tolerances.
Carry out dimensional inspections and quality checks.
Work on a varied range of components and machining projects.
Identify and resolve machining and set-up issues.
Maintain high standards of quality and safe working practices.
Requirements Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Setter or CNC Machinist.
Strong knowledge of CNC milling and machine set-ups.
Experience with Fanuc controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Some CAD experience.
Good knowledge of tooling, machining processes and work-holding methods.
Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach.
Ability to work independently and manage machining tasks effectively.
