Dental Specialists of Buckhead, part of Smile 23 Management, is seeking a Periodontist to provide exceptional specialty care at our Atlanta practice. We are looking for a thoughtful clinician who combines strong surgical skills with clear communication and a commitment to long-term patient relationships.

This opportunity is ideal for a periodontist who enjoys collaborating with referring dentists, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and helping patients understand their options.

The Role

• Diagnose and treat periodontal disease through surgical and nonsurgical care.
• Provide dental implant placement, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, and other periodontal procedures within your clinical expertise.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with referring and restorative providers.
• Educate patients about treatment recommendations, expectations, and ongoing periodontal maintenance.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support high standards for patient safety and care.
• Build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and the local referral community.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited postgraduate periodontics program.
• Active Georgia dental license, or eligibility to obtain one before starting.
• Board certification or board eligibility in periodontics preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
• Experienced periodontists and recent residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
