<p> Emergency Veterinarian - Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program Fort Wayne, IN </p><p> Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency &amp; Specialty Hospital is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6-month training and mentorship program. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration. </p> <p> The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician. </p> <p> Applications: </p> <p> Applications are accepted year-round; however, mentorship positions are limited. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company, but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered. </p> <p> Program Duration/Commitment </p> <ul> <li>6 month training program beginning June or July 2027 </li> <li>1 year commitment as an ER clinician at NIVES following training </li></ul> <p> Location </p> <ul> <li> Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital 5818 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 </li></ul> <p> Program Highlights </p> <ul> <li>5-day work week consisting of 4 clinical days, 1 didactic day, and 2 days off each week </li> <li> Paired with a specific mentor and will mirror the same schedule for first 3 months </li> <li> After month 3, you are allowed to transition to swings depending on comfort level, no overnights until approved by your mentor and hospital leadership </li> <li> Surgical training with board-certified surgeons </li> <li> You will be certified as a RESCUER through our RECOVER certified instructor </li> <li> Competency-based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic rounds </li> <li> Regular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors </li></ul> <p> Want to know more?
