Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a night shift position. This role involves performing independent nursing functions, patient assessments, health education, and medication administration within the scope of practice. The nurse will provide supportive care to patients in the labor and delivery setting, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure documentation aligns with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a requirement of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Single State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License, BLS (American Heart Association), NRP, and AWHONN or C-EFM certification.??1????????
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a registered nurse in labor and delivery is preferred.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs. Candidates may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts to support clinical coverage.
