About the RoleAlice Benjamin Interiors is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Senior Interior Designer to lead high-end residential design projects from initial concept through final installation.The ideal candidate has a strong design aesthetic, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client service.Our company culture is built on integrity, communication, collaboration, and responsibility. We value individuals who are passionate about design, eager to continue learning, and willing to step outside their comfort zones to grow both personally and professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLead and manage multiple high-end residential interior design projects from concept through completion.Oversee all phases of the design process, including conceptual development, space planning, material selection, procurement coordination, and installation.Ensure projects meet client expectations, established timelines, and budgets.Coordinate with architects, general contractors, builders, vendors, and other project partners.Review construction documentation and ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution.Design DevelopmentDevelop thoughtful, creative, and innovative design concepts tailored to each client's vision and lifestyle.Prepare and present comprehensive design presentations, including mood boards, color palettes, furnishings, finishes, and material selections.Collaborate with the design team to develop floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.Lead design selections for kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, plumbing, tile, wallpaper, and custom furnishings.Stay informed on emerging design trends, materials, products, and industry innovations.Client EngagementServe as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional and consistent communication throughout the project.Lead client meetings, design presentations, and site visits.Clearly communicate design concepts, recommendations, project progress, and next steps.Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service, attention to detail, and proactive communication.Team Leadership & CollaborationMentor and guide junior designers, supporting their professional growth and development.Delegate tasks, establish priorities, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.Provide constructive feedback and maintain consistency in design quality.Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.Work closely with internal team members, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and industry partners.Budgeting & Cost ManagementDevelop and manage project budgets, including estimates for furnishings, materials, and labor.Monitor project costs and identify solutions that align with client budgets and design objectives.Source high-quality furnishings and materials while considering pricing, lead times, and overall project requirements.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Professional Experience7–10 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential design.Proven experience independently leading interior design projects from concept through completion.Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and budgets.Experience collaborating with architects, general contractors, builders, and vendors.Technical & Design SkillsStrong knowledge of furniture, lighting, materials, finishes, and custom design solutions.Advanced space-planning skills.Experience with kitchen and bathroom design.Experience selecting wallpaper, tile, plumbing fixtures, and architectural finishes.Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and design documentation.Experience developing and presenting comprehensive design concepts.Key CompetenciesStrong sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility.Exceptional organizational and project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Confident presentation and client relationship management abilities.Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Creative problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Willingness to learn, adapt, take initiative, and embrace professional growth.Work EnvironmentFlexible work-from-home arrangement with required in-person team meetings, client meetings, and site visits.Must have access to a reliable vehicle for project-related travel.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.Healthcare reimbursement through a qualified plan.Join Our TeamAt Alice Benjamin Interiors, we believe exceptional design is achieved through creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail.
