Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct usability testing, product validation and experience testing across web and mobile products.
• Evaluate digital journeys to identify usability issues, customer pain points, navigation challenges and experience gaps .
• Design and execute usability studies, prototype testing, user testing and concept validation .
• Apply design thinking, user-centered methodologies and usability heuristics to evaluate product experiences.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative user feedback to identify patterns and actionable insights.
• Partner with Product, UX/UI, Research, Engineering and Business teams to validate concepts and product solutions.
• Document testing findings, usability issues, recommendations and improvement opportunities.
• Support pre-launch and post-launch validation and continuous product experience improvement.
• Track usability issues through resolution and validate whether product changes address the original user problems.

Ideal Candidate

Mandatory

1. 1+ year of experience in Product Validation, Usability Testing, Design Thinking or Experience Testing roles involving digital products.
2. Hands-on experience testing user journeys, workflows and interaction flows across web or mobile applications.
3. Practical experience conducting usability testing, prototype testing and concept validation before product release.
4. Proven ability to identify usability issues, friction points and experience gaps and recommend improvements based on testing insights.
5. Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:

• Maze – prototype testing, unmoderated usability testing, surveys and quantitative user research.
• Contentsquare – customer journey analysis, heatmaps, session recordings, behavioral analytics and digital experience optimization.

1. Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture and design thinking .
2. Basic understanding of user behavior and usability heuristics .
3. Experience from B2C consumer-facing digital products, FinTech, e-commerce or product-driven organizations .
4. B.Des / M.Des from a Tier-1 institution ; NID, NIFT or IIT preferred.

This is NOT a UI/UX Design role.

We are specifically looking for Usability / Product Testing and Validation specialists who focus on testing product concepts, validating workflows, conducting user research and creating prototypes for experimentation and usability testing , rather than designing production UI screens.
