Role Description:

The Export Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata , responsible for leading and expanding Rupa’s international business. We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven "DGM - Export " to sprearhead our international business, having a good experience of 12–18 years of experience in export sales within the innerwear, apparel, hosiery, textile, or garment industry .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute export sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify new international markets, distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
• Expand business across existing and emerging markets.
• Manage relationships with international distributors, importers, and retail chains.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and annual business plans.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, logistics, and finance for timely order execution.
• Ensure compliance with export documentation, customs, DGFT, FEMA, and international trade regulations.
• Monitor sales performance, profitability, and market trends.
• Participate in international trade fairs and customer visits.
• Lead and mentor the export team.

Required Skills & Qualification:

• Experience: Minimum 12–18 years of relevant experience in Export / International Sales is mandatory.
• International Market Expertise: Strong understanding of international markets , market dynamics, and established experience in managing and developing international client relationships .
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, International Business, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Preferred Industry Experience: Candidates with experience in the Innerwear, Apparel, Hosiery, Textile, or Garment industry will be preferred.
