Fully Remote | Flexible Schedule | $3 K–$8 K+ / month (busy season)
Taxes for Expats (TFX) is hiring experienced CPA, EA, or tax attorneys to support our growing global client base of Americans living abroad.
We are a well-established U. S. expat tax firm with 20+ years of experience , serving thousands of clients across 190+ countries. Our preparers enjoy a steady flow of work — no need to source your own clients.
This is a fully remote, flexible role , ideal for professionals seeking seasonal, part-time, or scalable workload.
What You'll Do
Prepare and file accurate expatriate tax returns for U. S. citizens abroad Provide guidance on international tax laws, compliance, and tax planning strategies Collaborate with clients to gather required documentation Deliver high-quality client communication and support Ensure all filings meet IRS deadlines and compliance standardsQualifications
Active U. S. CPA, EA, or JD (required) 2+ years of U. S. expat tax experience OR 5+ years of general U. S. tax experience Strong knowledge of U. S. federal tax law Experience with FBAR, FATCA, or international reporting (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently in a remote environment High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple returnsCompensation
This is a commission-based role tied to completed returns.
Typical earnings during peak season:
$3,000 – $8,000+ per month
February – June, September – November
